Advanced horses

If you are looking for horses for advanced lessons (higher-level dressage), these are the ones: Fedora, Macklemore Papilio and Fender

Here are the horses:

Meaghan

Meaghan
Meaning: Pearl (Irish)
Gender: Mare
Date of Birth: 23-05-2010
Breeding: Silas x unknown (Murphy)
Height: 1.60 m
Level: M1

Meaghan is the very first horse we bred ourselves, directly from our first Tinker, Murphy. Her name, of Irish origin, means “pearl,” which perfectly reflects her character: special, valuable, and full of personality.

She is incredibly intelligent and curious. As a foal, she quickly learned to open stable doors, knots, and gates, and she still occasionally demonstrates this cleverness. She knows and enjoys using her strength, especially when seeking adventure. Playful, spirited, and cheeky as a foal, her personality has fully remained.

Meaghan is cheerful and playful but also a true mare with her quirks. For example, if you grip too hard with your thighs, she will clearly signal by standing still or shaking her ears. She is honest and clear in her interactions, making her an excellent teacher for riders of all levels.

What makes Meaghan truly special is her enthusiasm for activities she enjoys: joyful bucking, galloping, and simply savoring a training session. For things she doesn’t enjoy, she can sometimes be persuaded, but she always sets clear boundaries.

Suitable for both beginner and experienced riders, Meaghan quickly wins hearts with her playfulness, humor, and character.

Funky | Fedora

Fedora
Stall Name: Funky
Gender: Mare
Date of Birth: 07-04-2010
Breeding: Valdez x Contango x Chronos
Height: 1.65 m
Level: ZZ-L

Funky is Evy’s wonderful, reliable competition horse and a fantastic schoolmaster for riders ready for more refinement. She is relaxed, light in the hand, and responds beautifully to subtle aids, making her ideal for refining flying changes, lateral work, and other technical exercises.

As a young mare, Funky was already open and curious. New things were a bit scary at first, but she would always try them on the second attempt. She has never lost that honesty and willingness to work. She learns exercises quickly, remains steady in her body, and gives her rider a very reliable feeling. She sometimes notices tension outside the arena, but she doesn’t dwell on it. With a calm, honest rider, she will go anywhere.

What makes Funky special is her enormous stability and confidence. I even competed on her while heavily pregnant in my third trimester—she is that certain and consistent. Even in situations where other horses get tense, like on New Year’s Eve, Funky stays completely with you, without stress or fuss. She is the type of horse that carries you through every situation.

Funky is available in advanced lessons for riders under 70 kg who can move with her rhythm. No bouncing, no riding against her movement—just truly dancing along. For those who can do that, Funky is a dream: soft, willing to work, smart, and a wonderful horse to grow in riding skill and feeling.

Amor

Gender: Gelding
Year: 16-04-2014
Pedigree: Sir Camelor x unknown (Max vd Karpershoeve)
Height: 1.60 m
Level: M1

Amor was almost born saddle-trained. From the very first moment, he was calm, cooperative, and clear-headed. He is a delight to ride: soft, steady, and not the type to take an extra step unless needed. A touch phlegmatic at times, but always in the most charming, disarming way.

What truly makes Amor special is his unshakable character. He has helped countless riders overcome their fear. With him, you never feel pressure. He doesn’t get surprised, stays with you, breathes with you, and gives you exactly the confidence you need. This makes him ideal for riders who experience tension or want to rebuild their confidence.

Amor is sweet, calm, and very pleasant to ride. When you are balanced in your own energy, he can really carry the pace and show that there’s much more in him than his calm exterior suggests. You can easily ride an M1 test with him, yet he remains the same stable, friendly horse for those who feel unsure or hesitant.

After his castration, Amor had some difficulty with the canter. He may need support here and requires a rider who guides him calmly and honestly. With that support, he gives everything he can.

Amor is a horse that carries you, reassures you, and gives you space to grow. A true heart-stealer with a golden character.

Maddy

Gender: Mare
Year: 26-03-2009
Pedigree: Glenn King Hill
Height: 1.53 m
Level: Z1

Maddy is without a doubt the sweetest pony we have. She is the kind of pony you feel once and immediately fall in love with. Everyone who mounts her notices the same thing: a calmness, a softness, a natural trust that is almost indescribable. Maddy is truly one in a million.

I ride Z1 myself on Maddy, give lessons to anxious riders, and she participates in regular lessons as well as children’s lessons. That says it all: she can do everything, adapts to everyone, and always does so with her enormous heart. She comes from a care farm, and you feel that in everything: she understands people in a way that cannot be taught.

Evy’s daughter Lina rode her from the age of three. A toddler in a saddle, carried by a pony that knew exactly what to do. She is still like that: soft, steady, considerate, and sensitive without ever being insecure.

For experienced riders, Maddy is a dream because she is incredibly light in the mouth and just as instructive in dressage exercises as Funky. She responds to subtle aids, carries you through exercises, and gives you a beautiful feeling of refinement.

For anxious riders, she is as solid as a rock as Amor: unshakable, steady, warm, and fully reliable. She senses your energy, adapts, and gives you exactly what you need.

For children, she is simply perfect. She startles at nothing, thinks along with them, and is easy to ride. She makes riding fun, safe, and joyful for children, naturally, with her whole heart.

Maddy is the horse riders come home to.
The horse that carries you when you’re scared, helps you grow when you want to learn more, and makes you smile when you need it.

Macklemore

Gender: Stallion
Year: 23-03-2016
Pedigree: Sir Camelor x unknown (our Murphy)
Height: 1.68 m
Level: M2
Awards: Approved for breeding by the Irish Cob Society

Macklemore is an impressive and reliable Tinker stallion with an exceptional character. With his imposing height of 1.68 m and athletic, elegant build, he is not only a sight to behold but also a pleasure to work with. He exudes calmness, friendliness, and a heart of gold, immediately putting riders at ease. Macklemore is a half-brother to Amor, and you can really feel the calm character. He is also, through his dam, a half-brother to Meaghan, which you can see in his athletic genes.

On Macklemore, you learn refinement, balance, and coordination. His three excellent, roomy gaits, suppleness, and fluid movements make him ideal for developing your seat, aids, and sense of rhythm. He responds precisely to subtle cues and gives riders the chance to practice techniques such as M2-level dressage and controlled jumping, always with a safe and reliable character.

Macklemore is a true gentle giant: powerful but never overwhelming. He teaches riders to trust their own energy and timing, and encourages precise use of aids without hurry or tension. His calm attitude and willingness to work make him a perfect mentor for riders ready for higher levels of training and finesse.

Riding him helps riders grow in skill, balance, and confidence while enjoying the ride on a stallion who is both impressive and warm-hearted. Macklemore combines strength and elegance, learning and pleasure, making every lesson with him a special experience.

Macklemore is available in advanced lessons for experienced riders who are balanced in their energy and can respond quickly to subtle aids. He remains a stallion: occasionally he may notice something more attractive than you, requiring a rider who can guide him calmly and honestly. For those who can, Macklemore is a dream: powerful, elegant, willing to work, smart, and a fantastic horse for developing riding skills and feeling.

Honey Rose

Gender: Mare
Year: Unknown, estimated 2007
Height: 1.60 m
Pedigree: Unknown
Level: Saddle-trained
Awards: 1st Premium

Rose is a super sweet mare with a curious and gentle character. She can be a bit insecure and has past experiences, so her first reaction with new riders is often tension or flight. But once she feels trust, she shows how special she is: soft, willing to work, and incredibly nice to ride.

She is naturally forward, responds to the smallest aids, giving an unparalleled feeling of connection. Rose doesn’t bolt; she needs a steady, soft rider who is patient and doesn’t mind taking the time to build trust, sometimes starting with just a half-hour of walking.

Rose is bombproof in everything around her. She is not fazed even by fireworks from the neighbors. She is incredibly gentle and patient on the ground too: people can groom, braid, or care for her, even disabled visitors, and Rose remains calm and careful.

Under saddle, Rose demands attention and precision. She feels every movement you make, even tightening your seat muscles, and responds subtly. For those willing to take time to earn her trust, she offers a wonderful experience: a horse that teaches listening, feeling, and partnership in a way you can’t find elsewhere.

Hinaya

Irish meaning: Shine, Bright, Beautiful Fairy)
Gender: Mare
Year: 09-05-2020
Pedigree: Amadeus x unknown (our Honey Rose)
Height: 1.60 m

Hinaya is a gentle mare who gives a safe and confident feeling from the very first moment. We started calmly: groundwork from age three. At four, we chose to breed her for the first time. Afterward, she was slowly started under saddle, and only after that did we seriously continue her training at her own pace.

Hinaya takes after Honey Rose in character: incredibly soft, cooperative, and sweet. She is easy to ride, forward and active, but always balanced and does not hollow her back. Her young, fresh character can be a bit clumsy, but that is part of her enthusiasm and curiosity.

In the stable, Hinaya is a treasure: calm, friendly, and curious about everyone. Under saddle, she shows intelligence, eagerness to learn, and confidence. She provides riders a safe yet challenging learning experience, growing together in a pleasant way.

Papilio

Gender: Gelding
Year: 15-04-2020
Pedigree: Fürst Romancier x Zonik x Painted Black x Chronos
(Mother from the full sister of Bon Bravour)
Height: 1.80 m

Papilio is a young, promising KWPN horse, available only for advanced lessons like Funky and Macklemore. He is Evy’s future sport horse and already shows why: excellent movement, big, roomy trot, and enormous spring in the canter.

He is still young and green but learns quickly: lateral work, dressage exercises, groundwork—he is eager and has an excellent ability to understand new things. Despite his age, he is very relaxed mentally; during groundwork exercises, he often reacts more calmly than Funky, though he can find some things scary.

Papilio is a horse that truly lets you feel the “floating” of dressage. His supple, powerful gaits and natural elegance make him a joy to ride. For riders ready for refinement, balance, and feeling, Papilio offers a unique opportunity to learn and grow on a talented, reliable horse.

Hesper

Name Meaning: Hesper means “evening star” in Irish—a calm, bright star appearing last when the world goes quiet.
Gender: Mare
Year: 16-07-2024
Pedigree: Macklemore x Amadeus (Hinaya)
Height: Expected 1.65 m

Hesper, or Happy as we affectionately call her, lives up to her name. She radiates calm, soft energy, as if she already knows exactly how the world works. Where many foals are searching or insecure, Happy stands firmly in body and mind.

She is a stable, grounded filly who does not turn away from challenges. New things interest rather than intimidate her. She is calm, thoughtful, and chooses trust deliberately, making her incredibly pleasant to handle: a foal with a gentle character and a mature mind.

As Hinaya’s first foal, her lineage is clear: kind, cooperative, and observant. Hesper feels like a young evening star: bright, calm, with a presence that promises a beautiful, reliable mare in the future.

Mercedes-Benz

Gender: Mare
Year: 25-05-2002
Pedigree: O’Sullivan x unknown
Height: 1.62 m

Benzy is a super calm and relaxed horse, exactly the type that makes many riders feel immediately at ease. She does everything calmly, thinks ahead, and remains composed in almost any situation.

She does have a clear will. If Benzy wants to go another way, the rider must be decisive, otherwise she politely but firmly chooses her own path. Not in a bad way, just honestly: “If you’re unsure, I’ll take over.”

For beginners and insecure riders, Benzy is fantastic. Her calm character, predictable way of moving, and reliability create relaxation in the saddle. She instills confidence without needing to be “kept in check.”

Experienced riders enjoy her too: she has long, comfortable strides and moves beautifully when guided clearly.

Benzy is a horse that always remains herself: calm, honest, soft, and therefore so valuable in lessons.

Pride

Gender: Mare
Year: 28-06-2005
Pedigree: Thunder x O’Sullivan (Benzy)
Height: 1.60 m

Pride is Benzy’s daughter. She is an energetic, hardworking mare with a powerful, roomy stride that gives an immediate great feeling when riding. She loves to work, takes her riding seriously, and feels like a horse that truly connects with you.

Pride is reliable and does not do unexpected things. Bucking or rearing is absolutely not her style. She remains honest, clear, and straightforward, making her great for riders who want an active, cooperative horse.

Her key trait: she mirrors you.
Are you confident, clear, and balanced? Then Pride is fantastic: energetic, sensitive to aids, and very considerate.
Are you unsure or hesitant? Then Pride will mirror that, potentially raising her tension.

Therefore, she is less suitable for beginners or insecure riders, but perfect for those with some experience seeking a sharp, honest, active horse.

Pride works with you, thinks with you, and rewards you for clarity and calmness. A wonderful, honest horse for riders who enjoy a bit of energy.

Bloem

Gender: Mare
Year: Unknown, estimated 2007
Pedigree: Unknown
Height: 1.42 m

Bloem has introduced many people to riding. She was used for years with children with physical or mental disabilities and later in riding school lessons, safely carrying countless small beginners. Bloem is uncomplicated, well-behaved, and very predictable. Perfect for anxious, insecure, and very young riders. Light adults are welcome too.

One point:
Bloem has mostly learned to follow other horses. Riding, steering, and taking initiative independently are still new to her. She learned to “follow,” not “lead.”

That makes her a very instructive pony for riders wanting to grow in calmness, clarity, and confidence. With patience and a calm rider, Bloem learns she can take initiative herself, that it’s okay to choose a direction, and that riding is more than just following.

What you get from her?
A super sweet, stable, and safe pony who thinks along and never does unexpected things.
What she asks from you?
Calmness, clear leadership, and time to discover she can do it herself.

Bloem is the kind of pony that gives everyone a good feeling: honest, soft, and reliable, making her incredibly valuable in our lessons.

Silver Ruby

Gender: Mare
Year: 2020
Pedigree: Mr Morris x RobRoy
Height: 1.60 m

Ruby is a mare with presence. Her silver genes give her that beautiful, characteristic shine in her mane and tail, making her recognizable from afar. But her true strength lies in her character.

Ruby is alert and lively, sensitive but respectful. She responds well to small aids, thinks along, and is always honest in her responses. For riders who like a light, active, and sharp horse without being hot or panicky, Ruby is a fantastic match.

On the ground, she is a different type: calm, affectionate, surprisingly gentle. She enjoys standing with you for a cuddle but always maintains her personal space. This makes her extremely pleasant and approachable for everyone.

Ruby’s active desire to move and her people-focused character make her a very nice horse to work with. She wants to go forward, values clarity, and rewards her rider with enjoyable experiences if relaxed and clear.

Ruby is alert, honest, responsive, and beautiful to ride—a horse you enjoy working with every day.

Flannelleke

Gender: Mare
Year: 2020
Pedigree: Bloc
Height: 1.48 m

Flannelleke, or Floortje, is a smaller mare who immediately stands out, not just because of her thick mane and tail.

Floortje is an energetic and honest mare, always clear about what she feels. Curious, playful, and sometimes a bit stubborn. A pony that thinks along but sets boundaries. Getting to know her reveals a true personality: enthusiastic when she enjoys something, very clear when she doesn’t.

Under saddle, Floortje shows her spunk and energy. She wants to work, is sensitive to small aids, and expects a clear, calm, and consistent rider. Sloppy riding makes her sloppy too, but approached honestly, she is an active, quick-learning, fun pony.

On the ground, she is soft and affectionate, enjoys attention, and always responds honestly. This makes her a fun learning pony for riders who want enjoyment combined with character.

Floortje is for riders of all levels who want a smart, honest pony full of personality: a mare that challenges but always with pleasure, spirit, and enthusiasm.

Hunter

Gender: Gelding
Year: 10-04-2025
Pedigree: Macklemore x Unknown (Honey Rose)
Height: expected 1.65 m

Hunter is a true fighter with a big heart. His start in life was far from easy: within 40 hours of birth, he underwent anesthesia twice (for a scrotal rupture and later internal bleeding), received a blood transfusion, and spent a long time in intensive care due to complications. Yet he never let it break him; even in the toughest moments, his curious gaze and fighting spirit remained.

He is sweet, gentle, and a real companion. Cuddles, attention, and play are his greatest joys, especially with his big uncle Papilio. Everything new or exciting, he approaches with almost mischievous confidence: “Oh, you’ve thought of something strange again? I’ll put my best hoof forward.” Nothing is too scary, nothing too weird.

Hunter combines toughness with a soft, warm side. He learns quickly, senses those around him, and radiates balance between strength, curiosity, and trust. Hunter is a foal to admire, protect, and be inspired by—a little fighter choosing his own path, always with character and heart.

Hercules

Gender: Stallion
Year: 05-07-2025
Pedigree: Macklemore x Amadeus (Hinaya)
Height: expected 1.60 m

Hercules is Hinaya’s second foal, starting life as a dream foal: smart, quick, and incredibly agile. He stood within seconds, drank strongly, and seemed to understand everything effortlessly. Bright mind, eager eyes, and a “bring it on” attitude.

But within weeks, his world turned upside down. He contracted pneumonia and later a cyst on his uvula, preventing proper closure, causing milk to enter his airway, and leading to repeated pneumonia.

The first operation failed due to size issues; a second operation succeeded. A tube was placed for airflow. Upon waking, he panicked, bent the tube, and collapsed. The clinic had to resuscitate him. He then spent almost a month recovering.

Despite this difficult start, Hercules has grown into perhaps the sweetest animal imaginable. Gentle, affectionate, a real cuddle buddy. He loves attention, enjoys grooming, farrier visits, and training exercises.

He remains curious, learns quickly, and embraces new experiences. Hercules embodies pure kindness: friendly, open, human-focused, always ready for contact. His gentle character contrasts beautifully with his determined spirit.

Hercules is a foal that touches hearts, both for what he endured and for who he is—a little miracle with a big heart.

Fender | Black Beauty

Gender: Gelding
Year: 02-06-2006
Pedigree: Painted Black x Krack C
Height: 165.6 cm
Level: Z2

Fender is a fantastic schoolmaster for riders of all ages. He teaches you to ride by feel and helps you become aware of tension and relaxation. In the moments when you truly work with him from a place of calm and connection, he gives you everything. Do you think you’re already relaxed enough but things still aren’t working? Then he asks you to let go even more. In this way, he helps you listen to your body, to him, and to what is needed in the moment to ride together in true harmony.

He already has an impressive career behind him. With his first owner, he competed up to ZZ-Licht, and with his previous owner he competed at M2 level. When you ride him softly and correctly, he will take you far. Even a beautiful passage is possible with him, as long as you approach him the right way. Fender is truly a schoolmaster through and through.

In the stable, Fender is a real snack lover: he adores apples and carrots, though he’s less fond of bread. He enjoys a good grooming session, but cuddling isn’t really his thing. He doesn’t like being tied up either; he prefers standing freely in his stall while being tacked up, with a little bit of hay in his feed bowl.

Fender is very precise: he likes his saddle to be perfectly straight and all straps to sit comfortably. Before and immediately after mounting, he loves a few bites of feed, and if he doesn’t get them, he makes his disappointment very clear with a look. He also likes to be rewarded during riding—whether with a soft pat on the shoulder or a few more treats.
